A Beautiful piece of art.
Heavy natural granite stone mill.
The most ancient way of milling grains into flour.
Two horizontal natural granite stones: Runner stone (top stone) turns on the Bed stone (bottom stone).
Each of the stones is carved with harp shaped furrows (groves), that are designed to continuously break the grain and husk and scrape the endosperm within the grain, while pushing outwards the processed flour. Also this pattern assists in keeping the air between the stones cool, which attributes to the high nutritious levels in the flour.
The processed flour can then be sifted and course pieces of grains be put back into mill for further milling.
This ancient way of milling will require milling the grains several times until the desired result is reached.
Please note : For those that are going to use this mill on a daily basis, it is recommended to relocate the handle a bit higher then the position it is in for a better grip
Due to the nature of granite stone, product may have small signs of cosmetic imperfections
