Price is for a Dozen eggs
Subject to availability. Website customers will usually have first priority.
We have a high ratio of Roosters to hens, at least 1:5 in most breeds, and we incubate the eggs ourselves weekly with high hatching rates.
Usually eggs are tilted twice a day when in storage.
Each egg is inspected with flashlight for any cracks before posting
In most cases the eggs will be sent unwashed (unless very soiled).

Rough transit, Atmospheric change caused by the express air freight, extreme temperatures and differences during transit, miss-handling by post workers, sudden environmental differences, all the 21 days of the incubation process (Which that on its own is a challenge), and of course- Luck. So, basically we are not offering, selling or promising hatching rates, it can be from zero to a hundred percent.
Eggs will be posted pointy side down or laying on the side. All sent via express post.
*Eggs will be no older than 7 days when sent.
This year, for customer benefits, we added the option to choose the egg packaging:
1. In wooden box: Eggs will be in a beautiful unique egg carton- random colour, wrapped in three layers of bubble wrap, inside a custom wooden box, inside a pre-paid express Post bag. This method can withstand any weight that will be placed on it by Auspost. But will not stand abusive throwing on hard surfaces.
2. In a spacial foam package, that to some extend will withstand throwing and vibration, but will not withstand heavy weights, like the wooden box.
In both cases, eggs will be individually wrapped in tissue paper, and marked with FRAGILE sticker.
Pick up will be just in a stylish colorful egg carton box
If you do not request a specific method of packing, the default will be with a wooden box.
For large quantities, or in combined with other products, package will be decided by us, and different from above.
